Founded in 2008, WPO services over 600 wind farms and solar parks in 12 European countries and overseas. See them here: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ico.wpo.eu/gif_data/wpo_data.gif
Historically, we provide technical management and specialized services, that's the job of about ~25% of our staff, operating the wind and solar parks.
We also provide financial and commercial services for wind farms and solar parks. That's the job of another 25% of our colleagues :)
In 2018, we started commercializing our digital services: they were originally developed for our dear colleagues, and now our IT team turned into a real product team and we are selling our SaaS directly to our customers.
Our SaaS solutions retrieve data from the wind, solar and hydraulic assets, we then run analysis on the data and provide reporting, insights and recommendations to the clients (high-end financial or technical engineering client) through a web platform.
We are running on AWS (see their story about us: https://aws.amazon.com/fr/solutions/case-studies/wpo/), with a modern technical stack.
We like clean code and are huge lovers of Plotly Dash (see their story about us: https://go.plotly.com/dash-wpo-renewable-energy or https://www.linkedin.com/posts/wind-prospect-sas_wpo-leads-renewable-asset-management-with-activity-6890229199269974016-ewPG) and a lot of Python.
