Frontend and Backend Engineers are an essential part of Doctrine's Product Team:
* Frontend: working closely with Designers, we implement the user interface of our web app. We make the most of modern tools like React, ES8, and SASS, and ensure our UIs work well on all screen sizes.
* Backend: working closely with Data Scientists, we implement all the real-time server-side code in NodeJS where the key goals are reliability (with a goal of less than 1 minute of downtime per month), security (to ensure confidentiality for lawyers), and low latency.
