You'll be at the forefront of solving complex challenges and maintaining our robust infrastructure, which handles over 60PB of monthly data traffic. Our systems are impressive in scale and maturity:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage
• 60PB+ monthly data traffic
• 300k+ service requests/sec processed
• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

As the Scraping Tech Squad Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering sophisticated scraping solutions, empowering multiple scraping teams to ensure large-scale data delivery. You'll have the autonomy to lead a squad of senior engineers who are already delivering top-tier scraping solutions. Crucially, you will act as the vital link between your squad and our R&D department, fostering an exceptional developer experience and guaranteeing the unwavering operational stability of all squad services.

🗓️ Your Day-to-Day: 🗓️

• Collaborate closely with our R&D team to seamlessly integrate their innovations into the production environment.
• Take ownership of sprint planning and manage a meticulously organized JIRA backlog, ensuring clear requirements and realistic estimated delivery times.
• Unravel high-impact ideas to drive Key Results (KRs) and align squad objectives with overarching company goals.
• Cultivate a motivating team atmosphere through effective workload management and consistent, constructive feedback.
• Actively engage in technical discussions to overcome obstacles and ensure the continued health of our systems.
• Uphold Agile best practices while continuously identifying opportunities to streamline processes and accelerate development speed.

• Proven experience in software development and leading technical teams comprised of senior engineers.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The capacity to adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining a clear long-term strategic vision.
• A genuine passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• A solid understanding of web development fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one back-end language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript (JS), and REST APIs.
• Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and software deployment processes.
